Cautionary statement: Beware of fraud
Misrepresentation of EGM Securities Limited and suspected defrauding of members of the public
It has come to our attention that certain individuals representing themselves as "employees" or "agents" of EGM Securities Limited and/or FXPesa have in their personal capacity or collectively with others allegedly collected funds from some clients of EGM and members of the public purportedly for investment with the company.
In particular, we have received information that a person named Kevin Vincent Kisimbiri, Simmy Wangui and another going by the name Simeon Ondara have, on different occasions allegedly represented themselves as employees of FXPesa with the intent of defrauding unsuspecting Kenyans.
We wish to clarify and caution our clients and members of the public that the above individuals are neither employees nor agents of the company and that they are not in any contractual agreement with EGM Securities or FXPesa to offer any services. We therefore urge that all persons should exercise caution when dealing with the said individuals and advise that EGM Securities shall not accept any liability in relation thereof.
Our clients are advised to guard their account access credentials and ensure that they do not share the same with any third party and that all investment funds are sent directly to the company's segregated client bank accounts through payment solutions available on our websites.
